We have every kind of room and hall available over three
interconnected venues. With our 5 exhibition halls,
the iconic Clyde Auditorium, the Crowne Plaza Hotel and 31
dedicated break-out rooms all under the same roof, we can offer
flexible space for gatherings ranging from 10 people to 10,000.
The retractable partition walls and flexible, multipurpose areas
mean you can shape the space to your exact needs. Advanced
audio-visual and lighting technology is the standard throughout,
with expert, friendly support from our own highly trained
technicians.
The SECC has earned an enviable reputation for
successfully staging all kinds of local, national and international
scale events based on the outstanding technical support and
the creative use of superb space tailored to our clients
needs.
Clyde Auditorium
The Clyde Auditorium, created by world-renowned architects
Foster and Partners, was designed from the inside out with the
requirements of conference delegates and speakers as the prime
consideration. It offers 3,000 seats over three levels however
should it be required for only 1,000 delegates, the ground floor
alone is the ideal solution. It has a substantial stage backed up
with breakout rooms, registration area and organisers' offices.
Little wonder it has become one of Europe's leading conference
venues.
Loch Suite
The Loch Suite is the flexible 'hub' at the heart of the SECC
and it provides a perfect illustration of the adaptability of the
whole centre. You can use it as a stand-alone venue in its own
right or to provide a seamless link between the Clyde Auditorium
and the five exhibition halls.
The Loch Suite gives you the opportunity to stage every kind of
event, from an intimate meeting of several people to a bustling
seminar or a glitzy product launch. The largest room, the Lomond
Auditorium, has tiered and floor level seating for 624. This
auditorium is flanked on the ground floor and first floor level by
four rooms each of which seat 200 in theatre style and each are
divisible in two.
Seminar suite
The Seminar Suite is on the first floor. It's made up of four
rooms. If you wish, three of the rooms can be transformed into one
larger area seating 200. This suite is ideal for small meetings,
breakout space or catering. It's this kind of scope and flexibility
that brings clients back to the SECC time after time.
Exhibition Halls
With direct links to the Clyde Auditorium, the Loch Suite and to
the adjacent Crowne Plaza hotel, the exhibition halls offer all
kinds of possibilities. From the smallest, Hall 1, which can hold
meetings of up to 360 people or provide registration or catering
space, to Hall 4, which is able to stage concurrent large scale
exhibitions with poster areas and in-hall catering - the
possibilities are endless.
Crowne Plaza Hotel
SECC is connected to the adjacent Crowne Plaza hotel at first
floor level creating a fully integrated complex and providing a
seamless link to a further 15 meeting rooms. The largest, the
Argyll Suite, can seat up to 800 theatre style while the Castle
Suite can accommodate up to 385.
