The SECC has 3 onsite hotels offering a total of 553 beds within 5
minutes walk of the conference centre. Additionally the SECC has
its own railway station which is only 1 stop (2 mins) from the
hotels district of the city. In total, over 11,000 rooms are within
2 miles of the SECC, ranging from budget and student accommodation,
alongside the international brand hotels and deluxe boutique
properties.
The Convention Bureau works with the city's hoteliers on a daily
basis and as a result there is a supportive relationship that works
to the benefit of the conference hosts and their Professional
Conference Organiser.
The Convention Bureau at GCMB offers a free and impartial
accommodation booking service to anyone organising a conference or
event in the Metropolitan Glasgow area. Because of the close
working relationships, the Convention Bureau's terms and conditions
are the same for each hotel and no deposit or contract is required
for individual bookings.
